Drafting & Design Services
Whether you are constructing a new residential or commercial building or are renovating or adding to an existing building, let us design your project. We also provide site planning, handicap accessibility designs, shop drawings, and conceptual drawings. We also have a few pre-drawn plans that we are proud to present for modifications and sales as is.
Building Code Inspections
Once you have gotten your plans and selected your contractor, we can provide plans reviews and on site construction code inspections for your project. We are under contract to provide municipal inspections for the City of Petal; and we offer full services for both residential and commercial projects to individuals and contractors located in the City of Hattiesburg and surrounding areas.
Construction Consultations
If you are preparing to or in the process of starting a project, investing in real estate, or have questions about building code issues; we can provide pre-construction plans reviews, building code studies, accessibility reviews, structure condition consultations, code consultations, and HUD form 92051 inspections.
ABOUT
Farve Residential Service, LLC was established in 2012 as a residential construction company. In 2023, the company was revamped to focus on providing third party building code inspections for the City of Petal. In 2024, we were approved to begin providing third party code inspections for projects located in the City of Hattiesburg. The owner have 32 years experience in construction, inspection, and design services. He holds a Mississippi Residential Builders license (on inactive status), International Code Council certifications as a Residential Combination Inspector, Building Inspector, and Residential and Commercial Building Plans Examiner. He has also held a Mississippi Home Inspectors License (relinquished in 2015). He is currently a member of the Building Officials Association of MS, MS Coastal Building Officials Association, International Code Council, Greater Hattiesburg Home Builders Associations, and the National Association of Home Builders.

Meet the Owner
The owner of Farve Residential Service, LLC is Thomas Craig Farve. He is a 1995 graduate of Sumrall Attendance Center and a 2000 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Engineering in a major of Architectural Engineering Technology and a minor of Construction Engineering Technology. He has 32 years experience in residential and commercial construction. He worked in the field as a carpenter and eventually became a project manager. His experience includes new construction and existing building repairs/renovations/additions. He worked as a technical inspector for the City of Hattiesburg in 2009, and has since acquired several certifications through the International Code Council. He is an active member in Homebuilders, Building Officials Association, and the International Code Council. He has also completed 100's of hours of CEU in his field. He is always looking for ways that he can further serve his clients with new services being added regularly.

Note from the Owner
We look forward to working with you on your next project. Our normal design process is that once we have met to discuss the project, a detailed formal proposal is presented for approval. Once the approval and payment for the deposit is received, we will get your project scheduled for work to begin. We will provide you with a preliminary layout and front elevation. We ask that you review it and make any necessary changes. Once we have received those back, we will update the preliminary and complete the final design documents. Once the final designs are completed, we will send them back to be reviewed. Once the finals are approved, we will make any minor changes and get the plans ready for delivery by writing the CAD files, PDF copies, and paper copies per the proposal. Once final invoice is paid, those documents will be delivered to you ready to be sent to your contractor for the construction process.
